My name is Benedict Matsididi, and I am truly grateful and honored to share my journey.
Looking back today, my heart is filled with happiness and appreciation because my story reminds me that dreams really can become reality when you believe in yourself and take action.

Becoming part of the Centre was more than just attending training – it became a journey that shaped my mindset, built my confidence, and helped me see greater possibilities for my future. The support, knowledge, and encouragement I received there made a lasting impact on my life.
One memory that still stands out for me was during Life Skills class when we had an interview assignment. One of the questions asked was: “Where do you see yourself in the next five years?” My answer was simple and came straight from my heart. I said that I saw myself working for one of the biggest companies in South Africa. At the time, it was a dream, but I believed in it. I held onto that vision and never stopped believing that I could achieve more.
The training at Thabiso Skills Development Centre gave me much more than technical skills. It taught me confidence, discipline, and the importance of having a positive mindset. The facilitators encouraged us to think bigger and push ourselves beyond our limitations. I learned that opportunities do not always come to you – you sometimes have to go out and find them.
I refused to sit back and wait for life to happen. I packed my things and went where opportunities existed because I knew that growth often begins outside of your comfort zone. Today, I am proud and excited to say that I am working at Power Process System, a company involved in manufacturing electrical distribution boards supplied across South Africa and Namibia.
Every day when I walk into work, I remember where I started and how far I have come. It fills me with joy and gratitude because I know that the foundation built at Thabiso Skills Development Centre helped prepare me for this journey. I am proud to call myself a student of Thabiso Skills Development Centre because it played an important role in helping me become the person I am today.
My journey has taught me that dreams become achievable when determination, faith, and action come together. I am optimistic about my future and excited about what lies ahead because I know this is only the beginning.
Today, I proudly encourage and recommend others to develop their skills and invest in themselves. I want people to know that learning and growth can truly transform your life. My story is proof that with the right support, hard work, and belief in yourself, opportunities can open doors you once only dreamed about.
